NOTES OF THE MEETING OF ASHBY DE LA LAUNDE AND BLOXHOLM WITH TEMPLE BRUER AND TEMPLE HIGH GRANGE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 20 March 2019

The meeting was closed at 7.40 pm for Cllr Clegg and Cllr Kendrick’s reports and opened at 8.04 pm.
19/13 Chairman’s remarks
The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
19/14 Apologies for absence
Apologies for absence were received from Mrs J Coles who was on holiday and Mrs J Wilkinson who has a family member seriously ill.
19/15 Declarations of interest in accordance with the 2000 Local Government Act
There were no declarations of interest.
19/16 Requests for dispensations
No requests for dispensation.
19/17 Notes of the last meeting
The notes of the last meeting on 16 January 2019 were agreed as correct and signed by the Chairperson.
19/18 Clerk’s report on matters outstanding.
The Clerk displayed a report on matters outstanding and explained its content.
19/19 Financial Matters
19/19/01 Income And Expenditure Sheet
The income and expenditure sheet for 20.03.19 was viewed by councillors and the clerk explained that it had not been reconciled with up to date statements by £25.11. This was corrected on 21.03.19 and chairman to sign the income and expenditure sheet and reconciliation.
19/19/02 Payment Of Cheques
Councillors approved the movement of amount no longer required in budget for excess damage to cluster SID to wages and petty cash to avoid minus amounts.

19/20 Planning Matters

Erection of outbuilding to form workshop, store and plant room and south facing pv panels on Roof Ashby Walled Garden Heath Road, Ashby
The council had no comments to make.

Approvals were noted.
Tree Works
19/0230/TCA T1 Horse Chestnut and T2 Sycamore – fell, Bloxholm Hall, The Lane, Bloxholm
This had been considered between meetings and no comments made.
19/21 Data Protection Privacy Notices update
R Walker to take advice at next Emergency Planning meeting.

19/22 British Red Cross free first aid training
First aid training to take place on 15 May at 7.00 pm in Ashby Village Hall. There will be 20 places.
19/23 Adoption of Code of Conduct
The Council resolved to adopt the NKDC Code of Conduct. Clerk to inform NKDC.

19/24 Correspondence
General correspondence noted.
It was noted that a Notification of Intended Works to Trees in a Conservation Area, The Coach House, The Lane, Bloxholm – T1 Willow – Fell, had been received. As comments were required before the next meeting the Council considered the application and resolved to take no action.
The Chairman thanked Richard Tasker for his valuable work on the council as he has decided not to stand for election.
