NOTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF ASHBY DE LA LAUNDE AND BLOXHOLM WITH TEMPLE BRUER AND TEMPLE HIGH GRANGE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON 15 JANUARY 2020

20/01 Chairman’s remarks
The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting, especially Laura-Jo Duke, and wished them a Happy New Year.
20/02 Apologies for absence
Mrs M King, ill.
20/03 Co-option of Laura-Jo Duke
Laura-Jo Duke was co-opted on to the Parish Council and completed the required paperwork.
20/04 Declarations of interest in accordance with the 2000 Local Government Act
No declarations of interest.
20/05 Requests for dispensations
No requests for dispensation.
20/06 Notes of the last meeting
The notes of the last meeting on 20 November 2019 were agreed as correct and signed by the Chairperson.
The meeting was closed at 7.36 pm for Cllrs reports and opened at 8.13 pm.
20/07 Clerk’s report on matters outstanding.
The Clerk displayed a report on matters outstanding and explained its content.
20/08 Financial Matters
20/08/01 Income And Expenditure Sheet
The income and expenditure sheet and reconciliation for 15.01.20 were viewed by councillors and explained by the clerk.
20/08/02 Payment Of Cheques
The following cheques were approved and signed:
Ashby Village Hall Rent £20.00
V C Smith – Salary £558.38
V C Smith – battery for laptop £24.94
It was noted that the following cheques had been paid between meetings:
HM Revenue and Customs £162.00
Autela Payroll Services £47.08
20/08/03 Budget for 20/21
The Clerk presented the proposed budget for 2020/21 taking into account the changes agreed at the previous meeting. It was agreed that the Council would join LALC’s Training Scheme and this was added to the precept. The budget was approved by the Council.
20/09 Planning Matters
Planning Approvals
NKDC Planning Reference 19/1345/HOUS Alterations and Extensions to existing dwelling, demolition of existing garage and erection of new detached garage – North End Bungalow, The Lane, Bloxholm
NKDC Planning Reference 19/1546LBC Minor internal and external alterations and replace existing windows, Thompsons Bottom Farm, Warren Lane, Temple Bruer
These approvals were noted.

20/10 Gateways for entrances of villages
It was reported that the necessary forms had been obtained from Highways. Cllr Eley to report back on progress at next meeting.
20/11 Local Electricity Bill
It was resolved not to support this bill.

General correspondence noted. It was agreed to nominate Cllr Wilkinson to attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party.
